The World´s Longest Ropeway

världens längsta linbana

The ropeway is a 96 km long technological masterpiece, which was built in only 370 days, to transport ore from mines between Kristineberg and Boliden. It was completed in 1943. Today the ore is transported by lorry and you can now travel between Örträsk and Mensträsk, a 13 km long soundless journey over treetops and waterways on the World’s Longest Ropeway.
