The Holmön Boatmuseum
The old utility boats are in focus at the Holmön Boat Museum. They are the starting-point for stories about different trades during different seasons; seal-hunting, fishing, small-scale farming, cattle-breeding, trade and wreck salvage. Stora Fjäderägg, a well-known bird island and lighthouse station, is situated some nautical miles to the east. There is a hostel on the island and you go there by boat, an old-fashioned trade boat, a so-called sloop.
