Västerbacken, Holmsund

Västerbacken is one of the sawmill centres in Västerbotten. The small museum is situated in one of nine remaining workers’ dwellings at Västerbacken in Holmsund. Here, the story of Holmsund, the growth of the sawmill industry and of popular movements during different periods is told.
