Sounds at the Open Air Museum
During 2020, the Gunborg and Sten Rosenström Foundation for Supporting Culture from Norrland will focus its attention on previous prize winners. This has given Västerbottens Museum the opportunity to involve creators in museum activities throughout the spring. Musicians Sara Ajnnak, Birgit Lindberg and Anton Teljebäck were invited to the museum to create their own sound-based works that interpret a place at the open air museum. You’ll find options to listen at certain places at the open air museum and through the links on this page.

The Gunborg and Sten Rosenström Foundation for Supporting Culture from Norrland – The Rosenström Foundation – was founded in May 2010 following the initiative of Sten Rosenström.
The Foundation’s purpose is to promote cultural creation in Norrland, by providing both financial and conceptual support to individuals or institutions active in Norrland’s cultural scene, in addition to those from other locations that promote Norrland’s cultural themes. In this context, “culture” is a broad concept.
