The Internet and the geospatial age have changed everything we thought we knew about photography. Events and non-events are captured from a myriad of angles by a tireless network of drones, satellites, close-circuit cameras, and smartphones. Where there was once a single viewpoint there are now many thousands. In this golden age of perspectives, the infinite array of documents uploaded to the web offer unprecedented opportunities to reveal the workings of our world. Since 2010, Mishka Henner has sought to expand the vocabulary and methods of documentary photography in the Internet age. The result has been a range of works that navigate through this vast digital terrain to focus on key subjects of cultural and geo-political interest. In this exhibition, a number of these works are presented alongside the many print-on-demand books produced by Henner between 2010 and today.
